The whole purpose of weaving a web or creating a maze of threads is to make the perfect trap for catching prey; yet, the brown recluse spider does not consider that enough. The males are likely to leave their nest and go hunt somewhere else, while the females will not go far from the web. Their favorite hunting moment is the night, when there are less chances of being disturbed, threatened or exposed to the dangers of the outside world. Inevitably, you will get into contact with a spider sooner or later, either indoors or outdoors; the general tendency is to destroy their nests inside of our homes since we associate cob webs with a messy and unclean area. Last but not least, certain spider species are a real threat to humans by the damage their venom can do to us. The size of trapdoor spiders is not larger than three centimeters for the body, with the females clearly dominating the males in this respect. Some varieties have golden hairs on their carapace that makes them look dusty and allows for a perfect camouflage. Trapdoor spiders may also have parallel bars on the abdomen, but this is not always the case, since diversity is at home even within the range of the same species. Many of the ointments prescribed for the alleviation of the pain caused by a spider bite are often ineffectual. Reactions to spider venom vary from one person to another, and the same rule stays valid for the treatment, which is why a remedy that has worked for a person is not necessarily going to be the perfect choice for another. The worst consequence of a hobo spider bite is the death of the tissue or necrosis; it is due to such a risk that the general opinion considers the hobo spider highly dangerous. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that necrosis is very rare and almost accidental, since it appears in very special cases when the immune system of the victim is already impaired. Without being venomous, the wolf spider bite can cause a bit of trouble for more sensitive people. A special feature of the wolf spider is the position of the eyes on the body; the four pairs are arranged in very unique ways, with four small eyes in a bottom row, two large ones placed in the middle and two middle-sized ones on the top row.
